Because We Love Books

our book collection started when my sister got addicted on some wattpad novellas. She got so addicted that whenever we go to the mall,  we have to dropped by on all of the bookstores located at the mall. As for me, I downloaded the Wattpad app on my phone and got addicted as well. Here are some of the books on my sisters Wattpad collection.

And then we go beyond our interest, we then started collecting trade paperback books and got interested on some genres. . .Here are the books on our Trade Paperback Collection. . .

Since then we started researching on other books and got interested on the works of E. L. James, Maya Banks, Sylvia Day and the like. . .

Since other foreign titles are not available on our local bookstore, we research on some of the online bookstores and found books on the Amazon and The Bookdepository. . .But since other online bookstores requires shipping fees, we prefer the #thebookdepository since it does not require any specific amount to place an order and the good thing about The Bookdepository is that it doesn't have shipping fees. In our case we only wait for at most three weeks for our books to be delivered right in our doorsteps. To order books from bookdepository, either you have a paypal account or a credit card. LEZGO RUN

Since we are so excited on an upcoming running event entitled RUN DADDY RUN this June, let me just share to you how nice and fun to join at a funrun organized by Runtarantantan.

Last March, me and my sisters joined the LEZGO Run held CCP Complex. . .

Runtarantantan will be holding another funrun dedicated to all fathers. . .it is scheduled on June 21, 2015. SUMMER LOVIN’ (Sale, Sale, Sale)

It came as a sudden trip to MOA (Mall of Asia) http://smmallofasia.com/moa/?p=1097, after checking out my sister’s government i.d.  It was a quick trip since there is a free shuttle bus from the government agency to the Mall of Asia , convenient, yes, because the bus is now fully air conditioned and has a TV on board.

As the trip goes, we got off the bus, went looking for the nearest fast food chain for lunch at 2:30 pm. Well apparently, lines on the store counters are fast moving. This is where our savings begins, Chowking is offering a Graduation Package at 564 that includes 5 pieces chicken, platter of pancit canton, chopsuey, 3 small size halo-halo, rice and three drinks. Their promo runs from March 1 to April 15, 2015.  . . yum! yum! yum!

After the meal, we went to the nearest bookstore, The National Bookstore http://www.nationalbookstore.com.ph/, since the meal is currently on summer sale for the rest of the week, we came looking for some of the books of our favorite, luckily the book of Maya Banks, The Sweet Series, is currently on sale from P669 each to P299.50 each,  that’s more than half the price and so we grab all four books of the series that is available, unfortunately, two books of the series is not available. We dropped by the SM Department Store and went to find some of our favorites, what else but the Shoes and the Bags, after a long search on some of our favorite brands, I got a Shubizz comfy shoes from P1299 a pair to P499 on sale, a GRAB backpack from P399.75 to P199.00, my nice got a GRAB bag for P499.75 and my sister got a COSE bag which can be change into a sling bag or a backpack at P690.

After the checkout we decided to dropped by my niece’s favorite sandwich store which is the SUBWAY and ordered a Ham and Cheese Sandwich which cost P99 but since they’ve got a promo, we  got the sandwich for only P69 (6-inch sandwich) each. Their promo is valid from March 1 to April 30, 2015 on some participating stores.

After our trip to the sandwich store, we went to grab some drinks at the Starbucks http://www.starbucks.ph/. This time getting my third loyalty card https://starbuckscard.ph and ordered a Java Chip for me and my sister and a Hazelnut Macchiato for my niece.

After a long day spent at the mall, we hopped on the bus and there goes a one and a half hour travel  from Pasay to Mandaluyong due to heavy traffic.
